I am from Wrangell Alaska and a tribal citizen of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians in Oregon. For as long as I can remember I have fought a personal battle with my own mental health, now more than ever I am in a position where I am able to help others succeed in getting the tools they need to fight their own battles, NAMI Juneau drew my attention for the advocacy and work that is being done in the community and I am excited to join the team. I am a musician and along with solo performances I am in a band called The Planktonics, a Soul/Funk band that brings me tremendous joy.
