Queer Wellbeing Workshops

This series of workshops aims to cultivate joy & belonging as a way of promoting positive mental health within the LGBTQ2S+ community.

These workshops are paid for by the Pride Foundation, made possible by marketing support from the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, and are coordinated by NAMI Juneau and the Haa Tóoch Lichéesh Coalition.

Supportive Adults of Trans Students Webinar (recorded August 2022) was hosted by Margie Thomson (Koru Counseling), Ty Shae (ZGYC), and Meryl Connelly-Chew (NAMI Juneau). This webinar covers how to utilize the resource guides (above) as a supportive adult, how to be supportive of trans youth, and what resources exist for transgender young people and the supportive adults in their lives.
